Welcome to St. Thomas' Parish!

Saint Thomas Parish

Chapel of the Incarnation

This website provides an introduction to who we are, what we believe, and how we live out our faith in the world. While we are proud of St. Thomas’ history, we know that it is only through serving others and growing in faith that we can become who God calls us to be in the future. Explore the website; read some of our history; check out upcoming events; see what we’re planning to do. If something here catches your attention, get in touch with us or come experience a service for yourself. Everyone is welcome!

Peace be with you,

Debbie Brewin-Wilson, Rector

Our Mission

We seek to create a spiritual community that welcomes all, embraces all, and includes all. We are one parish family that worships God in two different locations in order to be present to our neighbors in southern Prince George’s County.

We “Reach Up” in Worship according to the traditions of the Episcopal Church, using the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. We are one of the churches of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, taking our place in the community surrounding our nation’s capital.

We “Reach Out” to the community by supporting Community Support Systems, the Leary School, hosting community dinners, and holding special events such as “Breakfast with Santa.”

We “Reach In” to our parish family by offering support in times of struggle or illness, sharing the joy at triumphs, and simply journeying together through life, grounded in God’s presence among us. We believe in sharing our gifts as a manifestation of our love for God and for all of God’s people. Everyone truly is welcome at St. Thomas’ Parish.
