Parish Life
Saint Thomas' Parish offers opportunities for: Serving in
Worship Lay people of all ages are involved in the Sunday liturgy as lectors, oblationers, ushers, acolytes, Chalicists, and Lay Readers.
The music program solicit members for the choirs. The Altar Guild is very active. Sunday School
Located at Croom, excellent Sunday School material is used at all age levels and child care is provided during the services. Community Services The Parish participates in the collection and distribution of food and other necessities to those in need. There is a
referral resource of Family Services, an inter-family chain for special support. The Parish participates with the program of the local Fire Department and Lions
Club. Youth Ministry The Youth Ministry seeks to nurture and challenge young people, to enable
them to participate effectively in the practice of their faith in Church and the world. Vacation Church School
Vacation Church School is held during a week each June and provides a week of Christian Learning, music, crafts, prayers, Biblical drama,
nutritious snacks, and safe fun. Fellowship Fellowship is enjoyed in numerous and a variety of
activities that are formed by the parishioners themselves. |
